Christian Aid sings up in Honiton.

The new roof was raised at Honiton Methodist Church recently when people from all over the area gathered to take part in the Big Sing – joining voices to fight poverty.

The new roof was raised at Honiton Methodist Church recently when people from all over the area gathered to take part in the Big Sing - joining voices to fight poverty.

An assortment of favourite hymns and songs was sung from Jingle Bells to 0 Little Town of Bethlehem, and many in the congregation joined the spontaneous orchestra.

A short film illustrated how Christian Aid works with the YMCA in Bethlehem today, helping to rebuild lives through counselling and practical assistance.

The event raised £367.55 for Christian Aid.
