It has all gone quiet! Should we not be talking about it all the time? Why? Tesco Stores Limited has appealed against the democratic decisions made by Honiton Town council and EDDC. Their grounds of appeal are extraordinarily flimsy but, then, they are used to getting their own way. We wait with interest. At the same time, Aldi has re-submitted a planning application for a store in Honiton. I found their presentation at Honiton Town Council clear, concise and generally informative. The Aldi team indicated the importance of working with the local authorities and community. I don't recall Tesco adopting this attitude.Derek RackettTweed Close Honiton
