AXMINSTER Town Council denies it is responsible for the Skate Park at Cloakham Lawn.
Cllr Jeremy Walden hit back at East Devon District Council's claim that they were '99 per cent sure' the facility was the responsibility of the town council.
EDDC made the assertion in the Herald last month, following complaints that the area has fallen into disrepair and could be dangerous to children.
But Cllr Walden said during the monthly council meeting: "EDDC is 90 per cent sure that the town council is responsible. It isn't. Cloakham Lawn is responsible.
