Co-op staff are in the pink

AXMINSTER Co-operative shoppers will be seeing pink next week when staff will swap their uniforms for pink clothes in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

AXMINSTER Co-operative shoppers will be seeing pink next week - when staff will swap their uniforms for pink clothes in aid of Breast Cancer Care.From October 22, 23 and 24, staff will be donning anything from pink t-shirts and tights, to wellies and wigs, to raise as much as they can for the charity.Customers can take part in a raffle to win a television, a pink hamper or a family ticket to Bicton Park Botanical Gardens.Deputy store manager Kathy Mason said: "All the staff are getting geared up for a pink day so the store will certainly be looking very colourful. It's all for a good cause and we hope to raise a lot of money for Breast Cancer Care.
