Air ambulance lands on the holiday beach
Coastguards cleared part of the beach at Lyme Regis yesterday morning (Wednesday, August 29) to allow the air ambulance to land after a man fell from scaffolding.
Units from Beer and Lyme along with Dorset firefighters cordoned off an area on the Cobb sands for the flying medics.
The victim is understood to have been carrying out work above the River Lim in Bridge Street. His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
