Coin exchange launched for Beehive project

Fund-raisers appeal for public support.

The Friends of the Beehive have launching a new fund-raising venture in Honiton - a coin exchange.

They aim to exchanging coins for cash through cash4coins.

Notes can also be exchanged.

Marianne Harman, of the friends group, said: “Please tip out your coin jars, dig down the back of the sofa and think of those post holiday bits of currency you don’t know what to do with.”

Coins should be taken to the town council office in New Street or Wendy’s Cookshop or Honiton Sports in High Street.
