Stafford Cross collision - woman airlifted to hospital

One person was freed from a vehicle and the two drivers were taken to hospital after a collision involving a car and a lorry on the A3052

Two casualties have been taken to hospital following the incident betweeen Seaton Road and Locksey's Lane at shortly before 10.30am on Friday (February 14).

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service sent appliances from Sidmouth and Middlemoor to the incident who used hydraulic equipment and small tools to free.

A female driver was taken to hopsital by air ambulance while a male driver was transported via land ambulance to be checked over.

The A3052 is closed in both directions.
