THIRTY eight members of the Coly Ridge Probus Club attended the 20th anniversary luncheon.
The event was held at the Tumbling Weir Hotel and chaired by the vice president. President Reg Farmer, who was the club's first president in 1989, was unable to attend because of illness.
The club meets at The Wheelright Inn in Colyfrod on the first Thursday of each month for a coffee and talk by a guest speaker. On the third Thursday of each month, a luncheon is held.
At the last meeting Derrick Rugg spoke about the Devon Dialect.
