Bumper turnout at traditional event.
THERE was a bumper turnout for the big parade at Colyford Goose Fayre on Saturday – and plenty more went along to take a gander.
Led by the Exeter Morris Men the colourful procession included village Mayor John Mills and his lady Vicky and a host of locals and friends dressed in medieval costume.
They set off from The Elms and arrived at Springfield for an afternoon of traditional skills and fun – including mummers plays, medieval dancing and music circus tricks, falconry and archery.
Music was provided by the Woodroffe school Early Music and participants came from as far afield as Australia.
