OVER �650 was raised at Colyford's Annual Spring Fair at the weekend (June 6).
Money raised from the event held at Colyford Memorial Hall will go towards refurbishing the hall.
Hall chairman Howard West announced a contract had been placed with Skyline ltd for the relocation of the new ladies' toilets and associated work, which will be carried out in August.
He said further funds were being raised for work on the Gents' toilets, a tea bar and a central heating system.
He said: "I would like to thank the helpers and visitors for their efforts in raising these funds for further modernisation of the hall."
Other fundraisers include a one day digital camera course for all abilities on June 3, a cream tea on July 11, and a five week upholstery course starting on September 23. For further information on any of these events, call (01297) 551375.
