A CONCERT at Colyton Grammar School has raised over 2,000 for six armed forces charities.
The event was held to help support wounded service men and women, with charities including the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.
Organiser Fiona Bell said: "We got involved with this charity after hearing the story of Colyton man Geoff Woodward, whose son is currently serving in the British Army, and has recently returned from Afghanistan.
"In May this year, Geoff is taking part in the Forces' March, which involves running five marathons in five consecutive days. His target is to raise 1,500 for Project 65.
