A COLYTON Grammar School pupil has been awarded a scholarship after showing originality and flair in solving engineer design problems.
Sam Fletcher received the Arkwright Scholarship after successfully passing an aptitude paper and presenting GCSE work to a panel of interviewers.
The Arkwright Trust was founded in 1990 and supports young people during their A-level/Scottish Higher years by awarding �250 a year to assist with the purchase of materials and books.
Sam will also carry the status of 'Arkwright Scholar' into university.
