COLYTON Grammar School raised over 2,000 for an armed force charity – to help fund care and support of wounded servicemen and women.
They sponsored Geoff Woodward who took part in the ‘Project 65 Forces March” – the equivalent to completing five marathons in five days.
The school organized a series of fundraising events, which included holding a charity concert and producing and selling their own CD.
The co-ordinator of the fundraising, Miss Bell said, “A huge thank you goes to everyone ho helped raise this astounding total and a special mention to students Joel Stephano, Maeve and Jess Hannah.”
