Six students from Colyton Grammar School have won the ‘Best research and development’ prize in the ‘F1 in Schools’ national finals.

The youngsters had to design and build a miniature Formula One racing car, which then competed against entries from other teams.

The finals were at the famous Silverstone Circuit, where the Colyton team also finished third in the ‘Reaction racing’ category.
