Colyton Primary School helps spread some festive cheer as part of a Christmas appeal.
Kind hearted pupils from Colyton Primary School have been busy trying to bring some Christmas cheer to children less fortunate than themselves.
The primary school collected 57 gift-filled shoeboxes as part of the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, which will be sent to underprivileged children across Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Headteacher Nicholas Harris said: “The appeal went very well. We collected 57 shoeboxes, which is a great total.
“It really helps to bring home to the children that there are a lot of people less fortunate than themselves.
“We are very proud of them.”
