Colyton Grammar School student Rosie Lester, aged 17, took part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as part of the prestigious South West Camerata String Orchestra, formed from exceptional, young Devon musicians.
With the West Sussex Gifted and Talented String Academy, and directed by Colyton music teacher Melanie Lester, the orchestra played Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto in St Giles’ Cathedral.
Rosie said: “It was daunting, but it was a very rewarding experience.”
