Pupils make lava lamps and keep a malteser hanging about
PUPILS from Colyton Grammar School took part in a family science day at the Norman Lockyer Observatory, near Sidmouth.
Amongst them was Aimme Browning, who demonstrated the “magic” of centrifugal force by suspending a malteser in an upside down wine glass.
Other students showed off the contrary properties of oil and water by mixing them with food colouring to make lava lamps.
