Teddy bears recruited to aid school fund raising for leukaemia charity
PUPILS at Colyton Grammar School have presented a cheque for 740 to the Exeter Leukaemia Fund.
Students in Beech House have been fund raising for the charity over the past 18 months, holding quizzes, a lunchtime acoustic concert and a “bring your own teddy bear to school day”.
Heads of House Ben Strawbridge, Charlie Warwick and Beth Levi were delighted with the result and last week Dale Edwards from the Leukaemia Fund went along to the school to receive the money.
