Bishop Bob Evens, Bishop of Crediton, joined the line-up for the 10th annual Colyton Vintage Tractor Run.

Joining the bishop in the drive was the Reverend Nigel Freathy, flying the flag for the local clergy, along with former Colyton Rector, the Reverend Nicholas Edwards, who is now ensconced in his new parish in Exeter.

All three drove tractors owned by the Branscombe Brigade - John Pavey and Edwin Purchase.

To add to the fun, local beat bobby PC Steve Speariett, drove the route on a tractor loaned by Arthur Parsons.

An event spokeswoman said: "The organisers are very grateful to the main sponsors, CRW Accountants and all the other sponsors and friends helping to make this a memorable day."

Funds raised this year will go to Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Don Handsford sold DAAT merchandise on the day.

Last year £2,000 was raised for Help for Heroes.
