Community funding up for grabs

£400,000 grant made available.

New funding is up for grabs for community organisations to improve village halls and community centres.

The grants announced by the Community Council of Devon, of between £5,000 and £20,000, is being made available to improve local buildings - modernising outdated facilities, installing solar panels, improving disabled access, kitchen refits or roof replacements.

Devon County Council has provided £400,000 of the grant funding.
