The values of caring, sharing, loyalty, forgiveness and honesty were celebrated by the local community in Offwell.
Offwell CoE Primary School joined together with the local community to design banners promoting the school’s core values.
The children came up with creative designs to produce five large banners, with the help of the community, before they were paraded through the village.
Headteacher Anne Billington said: “It was super to gather the whole community together and support our children publicly. It was humbling to see the effort everyone had put into the day, which is one we will remember for years to come...
“It really was a very special day”

After the banners were paraded through the village, everyone gathered for a village tea party hosted in Offwell Village Hall by the school’s PTFA.
The banners are now displayed in the school classrooms and St Mary’s Church, Offwell.
