A young chef from Rawridge cooked up a storm to raise money for Leukaemia sufferers.

Tommy Piper hosted a four-course dinner party in aid of the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) and invited as many villagers as possible to attend.

The 12-year-old did most of the cooking himself with a little help from his parents.

“At School we were asked to raise money for a charity of our choice. I decided to choose ELF which I believe is a very worthwhile charity,” says Tommy.

“It helps people within Devon and more importantly has helped people in our village. The evening was a lot of hard work, but fun and I was pleased to raise so much.”

The event raised £205 for the charity.
