Seaton supermarket celebrates its first year of trading with bubbly and cake
Shoppers at Seaton Tesco were greeted with a glass of bubbly on Wednesday as the store celebrated its first birthday.
Staff at the Harbour Road supermarket also handed out cake and the first customer through the door at 9.30am - Adrienne Tucker from Bridport – was presented with a box of chocolates by bakery manager Alex Willcocks and the store’s community champion Rhoda Snell.
A special birthday cake was made for the occasion by Paul’s Bakery, of Marine Place, Seaton.
Said Rhoda Snell: “We would like to thank all our customers for shopping with us and making our first year here such a success.”
