PITCH costs for market traders in Honiton are to be kept at the winter rate for the time being and reviewed on a quarterly basis.

PITCH costs for market traders in Honiton are to be kept at the winter rate for the time being and reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Poor weather and the economic downturn has seen traders' incomes drop.

Honiton Town Council had intended to increase pitch fees from £10 to £14 for the summer, but this increase has been put on hold.

The council's April meeting heard that, weather permitting, the charges could be put up to £12 per pitch.
