THE chief executive of East Devon District Council earns £121,000 a year.

Mark Williams said he was happy to reveal his salary during a presentation to Honiton Town Council.

Mr Williams is also chief executive of South Somerset District Council and previously earned £110,000 a year.

East Devon paid £160,000, 40 per cent, towards the redundancy package given to the former chief executive in South Somerset, who earned £132,000 a year.
