Council honours college achievers

HONITON Town Council has honoured young people from Honiton Community College – to mark their achievements.

HONITON Town Council has honoured young people from Honiton Community College - to mark their achievements.

College principal Norman Tyson, who has announced he is to retire next year, accompanied the students to a prize-giving ceremony.

He paid tribute to the 10 students, saying they represent the majority of young people at his school.

Acting council chairman Vivienne Ash made the presentations.

Those presented with certificates and books tokens were: Connie Wilson, Jordan Clements, Sam Netherway, Harriet Broom, Amy Hatcher, Alex Donne-Davis, Natasha Browning, Jake Roberts-Cooper, Louise Roberts and Rory Norrington.
