Members of Honiton Town Council's planning committee heard at a meeting last week that the business had been no longer viable.Plans include the removal of the shop front.Councillor Michael Teare, chairman of the planning committee, explained: "It was originally a domestic building and what is being proposed is to simply take it back to what it was before."Former mayor Councillor Sally Casson added: "I must say, the plans look very good - they are Georgian."I actually quite like it; it's a shame we are losing another shop, but...
