Council staff removed signs for village fete

STOLEN signs, advertising Offwell Fete, have been found and returned to the village, police have reported.

STOLEN signs, advertising Offwell Fete, have been found and returned to the village, police have reported.

The professionally made signs were taken from the A35 the day before the recent event.

The Herald understands the signs were removed by over-officious council workers.
