Carnival week will start with a quiz night on Sunday.
THE countdown to Honiton and District Carnival will begin on Sunday, the start of carnival week.
A packed programme of events will kick off with a quiz night at Honiton Rugby Club. Taking place at 7.30pm on Sunday, October 17, the event is open to teams of four and the entry fee is �10.
A carnival bingo, with cash prizes, will be staged in the Mackarness Hall on Wednesday, October 20. Doors will open at 7.30pm for ‘eyes down’ at 8pm. The annual carnival darts competition will be held at the Royal British Legion Club on the evening of Thurday, October 21. A race night, featuring Space Hoppers, will be held at 8pm on Friday, October 22, at the Royal British Legion.
