Youngsters win through to the regional finals of the mock trial competition

Students from Colyton Grammar School got the right verdict when they appeared at Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court

last week.

The team of budding legal eagles won their way through to the regional finals of the mock trial competition, finishing the local heat in top spot.

History teacher Justine Solomon, said: “The team was excellent – we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a similarly impressive performance at the next round in Bournemouth in May.”
