664 vehicles clocked travelling over 36mph in Honiton.

Police in Honiton have been cracking down on speeding motorists in the town.

Over the past 12 months Honiton’s neighbourhood beat team has found 664 vehicles travelling over 36mph.

Officers in the town have monitored the speeds of more than 8200 vehicles, at seven different sites, during 72 deployments.

Police will be continuing to monitor speed in the town and the results over the last 12 months will be passed to the road casualty reduction officer and the Highways Agency.
