One of the positive aspects of living in a new and ever changing town is the way people adapt and change as can be seen with the Cranbrook Festival.
Facing a second year of having to cancel the usual June date, the festival committee decided to instead hold an event in early September 2021.
“It’s a celebration both of Cranbrook being built and of how we have coped with lockdown together,” said committee chair Karen Hamilton.
The festival, on September 4, is coming back bigger and better than ever, with demonstrations, magic shows, lots of stalls and music from the Haus band and the Dilly Boys taking the fun from afternoon to evening.
As Karen puts it: “The festival’s focus is on fun, family entertainment with plenty for children and their parents to do, as our young town is full of families.”
The event begins at 2pm and is at the Cranberry Farm Pub which will again supply its special festival menu of snacks.
Any profits from the event will go to Devon Air Ambulance and Devon Freewheelers. For more information or to book a stall contact cranbrookfestival@hotmail.com
