Fire crews from three towns attend single vehicle collision on the A35 near Kilmington
Passers-by freed a man from his car after it crashed on the A35 at Gammons Hill, near Kilmington, last night (Monday).
Firefighters from Axminster, Colyton and Lyme Regis were called to the scene, at around 9pm, but the driver had already been removed from the vehicle by members of the public. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.
The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance while fire crews made the vehicle safe. The extent of the driver’s injuries is currently not known.
