Three men were airlifted to safety after their vessel sank.
The three crewmen, who had been on the Brixham fishing vessel Betty G, were rescued by the coastguard helicopter and transported to its airbase at Portland after their ship had sunk at approximately 2am yesterday (Monday).
They were spotted in a liferaft by the skipper of the Lyme Regis-based diver charter vessel Blue Turtle who had reported seeing a red flare in Lyme Bay.
