Three fire engines from Seaton, Colyton and Axminster were sent to Harbour Road yesterday evening (Saturday).
Fire engines from Seaton, Colyton and Axminster were called out after reports of a cooker fire in Seaton.
The firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 6.20pm last night (Saturday) to a property in Harbour Road.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire using a hose jet, covering jet and breathing apparatus. They also administered oxygen to two casualties who had suffered smoke inhalation.
A fire service spokesman said; “Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the property of smoke. Duty of care was left with the ambulance service and the occupiers of the property.”
