Crews fight two fires in Axminster

Fire fighters tackled blazes in a house and a shop in Axminster last night (Sunday).

Crews from Axminster, Charmouth and Lyme Regis attended a fire in the doorway of a recycling store in Victoria Place.

They used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

Then at 9.36pm, three crews from Colyton and Chard were called to a domestic property in Chard Road, where the seat of the fire was contained to an attached conservatory.
