Fire crews from Honiton and Chard were called after receiving reports of a pickup truck on fire on the A303 at Marsh.
The incident happened at 12.46pm on Friday, November 27. Upon arrival, crews confirmed the pickup truck was well alight following a road traffic collision.
All persons were free and clear of the vehicle when officers arrived.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The blaze, thought to be accidental, damaged 75 per cent of the vehicle.
