Cribbage champs recognised in Seaton

The evening was well attended by members of the various teams and their supporters.

The Seaton and District Cribbage League held its annual presentation evening in PJs Bar on Thursday.

The evening was well attended by members of the various teams and their supporters. Two finals were played on the night, the Winners’ Singles Knock-out and the Winners’ Pairs Knock-out.

Cribbage league chairman Ray Burrows then presented the trophies for the competitions run during the past season. They were:

PJ’s Trophy – The Kingfisher; Singles Knock-out – Maurice Howe, runner-up - Sean Salter; Pairs Knock-out – Julie Nield and John Salter, runners-up – Tim Allsopp and Jeni Allsopp; Team Knock-out – The Kingfisher, runners-up - The Vault Bar; Stan Berry Plate – The Kingfisher, runners-up - PJs Bees; Captain’s Cup - The King’s Arms, runners-up - PJs; League Winners - The Vault Bar, runners-up - PJs Bees; The Wooden Spoon – The King’s Arms.
