TWENTY eight crimes were reported in Axminster last month, according to police figures.
PC Darren Herridge reported during the monthly meeting that there had been four burglaries, four common assaults, four actual bodily harm assaults, five incidents of criminal damage and two sexual assaults.
The figure is down by three on last month. So far this month there have been 8 reported crimes, including one burglary, three ABHs, one theft from a motor vehicle, criminal damage to a property, theft of a pedal cycle and a drunk and disorderly.
Criminal damage to motor vehicles and thefts have been the biggest crimes this year.
There have been a total of 44 thefts; 39 cases of criminal damage; 27 burglaries; 12 ABHs; eight common assaults; four cases of possession of a Class A drug; and four for cannabis; four incidents of public disorder, and four sexual assaults.
