CRIME in Axminster is down by almost half this month on previous years, according to police reports.
Neighbourhood beat manager Pc Darren Herridge said there had been 18 incidents of reported crime, compared to 35 and 40 in the last two years for the same time period.
He said during the town council's annual general meeting: "Crime has been non- eventful this month.
