Neighbourhood beat manager Steve Speariett reported there had been 96 crimes in the area during the annual parish council meeting.
He said it was 'disappointing' compared to previous years.
He explained criminal damage and anti-social behaviour had been the biggest problems, but they had identified a total of three responsible groups and dealt with them.
He said there had been 15 offences so far this year, and only four reported cases of criminal damage - compared to 22 previously.
