TOP crime writer Anne Perry will be visiting Honiton library next month to talk about her work.

She featured as one of the 20th century's '100 Masters of Crime' and has achieved success both in this country and the USA.

She is noted for her memorable characters, historical accuracy and exploitation of social and ethical issues.

She was selected by The Times as one of the 20th century's "100 Masters of Crime".

Her two series of books - one featuring Inspector Thomas Pitt, and the other featuring Inspector William Monk - have been published in many languages, with her worldwide sales now reaching 25 million.

This year is the 30th anniversary of the publication of her first book.

She will be at Honiton library on Thursday, September 3, at 2.30pm, to discuss her work with visitors, where they can join her for a cream tea.
