Criminal damage in Seaton

Police appeal for witnesses.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of criminal damage to a gazebo and a garden fence in Seaton. A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said the alleged incident took place at around 3.30am to 3.48am on Sunday, July 14, at Eyewell Green.

The gazebo was reportedly cut in several places and wooden panels on the garden fence were pulled down.

The spokesman told the Midweek Herald that police searched the area and found a knife nearby which has been seized and sent off for forensic examination.
