Seaton was packed at the weekend for a feast of two-wheeled action.

The resort’s annual CycleFest organised by the town council and the town development team was bigger and better than ever.

Saturday saw a new Vintage Cycle Day with more than 100 taking part.

Crowds gathered on Cliff Field Gardens for a picnic in the afternoon, with stalls, music and vintage-style entertainment.

On Sunday, British Cycling was welcomed back to Seaton with the town centre turned into a race course featuring some of the best riders in the South West.

Alongside the cycling there was plenty of family entertainment at the festival village on Thury Harcourt Place with martial arts demos, BMX displays and hands-on sessions.

The festival team worked closely with local companies such as platinum sponsor Bovis, gold sponsor Cyclelife East Devon, Elite Men and Women’s race sponsor Fortnam Smith & Banwell and media sponsors the Midweek Herald, along with others who sponsored activities and prizes.
