Midnight walkers raise 400 for Hospiscare
A GROUP of Dalwood women stayed up late – and proved that early “birds” do prosper.
Fifteen members of the “Dalwood Dollies” took part in a “midnight walk” and raised 400 for Hospiscare.
The 7.5 mile trek, around a circular course, actually started at 9.30pm and most of the ladies arrived back at the village before morning - averaging between two and two-and-half hours.
Minibus support was provided by Cath Seward, of Dalwood-based Seward Coaches, and sponsor forms were made available at the community shop and the Tucker’s Arms.
