OWNERS, developers, and other interested people who have land that could provide at least five new homes are being invited to contact East Devon District Council by the end of July - so that sites that are potentially suitable for housing are considered as part of the new Local Development Framework.Interested parties will need to provide a map of the land concerned and complete a form to provide basic information about the site, such as current use, constraints and when it would be available for housing. Before submitting suggestions, it is important that people are aware that sites that are remote from established settlements, or would affect a Site of Special Scientific Interest or an ancient monument, are likely to be discounted early in the process. Sites within or next to the towns will be examined in more detail. The form can be requested from the forward planning team on (01395) 571 543.
