Following the death of pop legend Michael Jackson yesterday (Thursday), Which? legal service senior lawyer Peter McCarthy provides the following advice to people requiring refunds for tickets to his 'This Is It' concerts at London's 02 arena:"Fans who bought tickets directly from the O2, or from agencies connected to the tour, will be entitled to a full refund. You may be offered an exchange for another event, but are not obliged to accept this."If you spent over 100 on each ticket, you'll be able to make a refund claim to your credit card provider. If you paid less than this, you'll only be able to make a claim if you have a Visa or MasterCard credit card or Visa debit card. "Unfortunately, it's a gloomier picture if you bought from a third party. If you bought tickets from an individual, through eBay for example, you may have more difficulty getting your money back, as these are private sales.
