A YARCOMBE woman said she had a fantastic experience when she took part in a tandem parachute jump for Hospiscare.
Debbie Luck, 49, was one of a party of six who took part in the jump, from Dunkeswell airfield, on Friday, December 4.
Mrs Luck said: "It was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to anybody. I was quite nervous as we went up but it was amazing.
"The free-fall was all through the cloud, but as we emerged, we were at the right height to open the parachute. So we got to see quite a lot of the area."
She also said she would be happy to do another parachute jump, but would like it to be in better weather.
Along with Mrs Luck, her fellow jumpers were her husband, Ian, 40, daughter Emily Wilson, 26, Tara Flannery, 26, Hannah Twine, 22 and Laura Summers, 22.
