Police appeal following Honiton assault.

A man carrying a guitar is the subject of a police appeal in Honiton following an allegation of assault.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have been in High Street at around 8.30pm on Friday, January 27.

PC Carly Davies says a dark blue VW Golf was damaged and its driver assaulted near Cafe 102.

She wants to hear from witnesses who may have seen the suspect, a scruffy male, in the vicinity, who was earlier seen obstructing traffic in High Street.

He is described as white, with messy, shoulder-length, dark hair. He was carrying a guitar and had a black and white dog with him.

If you can help, call PC Davies at Honiton Police Station on 101, quoting reference number KH/12/86.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
