OYEZ! Seaton and Honiton Town Criers add a splash of colour to Exmouth festival

Town criers from across the nation took part in a shouting match in an East Devon resort.

And helping to give Exmouth Festival’s annual ding-dong a bumper splash of colour were the official bell-wielding representatives from Honiton and Seaton – Dave Retter and David Craner.

The contest was won by Brian Whipp, from Saltash, and the award for the best dressed escort went to the Hontion crier’s wife, Kassa.
